© The North Downs Consort -
The North Downs Consort is a chamber choir of around twenty five to thirty voices. We are based at St. Paul's Woldingham in the heart of Surrey and draw our members from Kent, Sussex, Surrey and South London.
North Downs Consort's aim is to sing some lesser known material as well as more popular works.
We aim to present a themed programme at each of our concerts, and work hard to polish our performances.
Our Music Director, Julian Thomas, is an energetic and exceptional musician and conductor. We thoroughly enjoy our choral singing both at rehearsals and in performance.

In the early evening of December 22, many of the choir members assembled in the lower concourse of London Bridge Station to sing carols for the commuters going to and from the tube. Our efforts were awarded by heavy collection boxes for the charity that organised the event.
On Monday 20 March, the North Downs Consort stood in for the choir at Salisbury Cathedral to sing for the evening Eucharist for St. Joseph’s day. We sang Michael Haydn’s “Mass for Quadragesima”, which we had been practising for our concert on 25 March.
Our next concert will be the Summer Concert on Saturday 8 July at 7.30pm, with music in a much lighter style.
We are looking for singers in all voices, except alto.
