The North Downs Consort is a chamber choir of around twenty five to thirty voices. We are based at St. Paul's Woldingham in the heart of Surrey and draw our members from Kent, Sussex, Surrey and South London.

North Downs Consort's aim is to sing some lesser known material as well as more popular works.

We aim to present a themed programme at each of our concerts, and work hard to polish our performances.

We thoroughly enjoy our choral singing both at rehearsals and in performance.

Latest News & Events

Our latest concert was our Autumn Concert on Saturday 24th November.  Unfortunately, this was also the last concert with our present Musical Director, Julian Thomas.  We were accompanied by a string quartet and an organist.

On 12th January, some of our singers met at London Bridge Station to sing carols for an hour, for charity.

In January, we began preparing for our March 2019 concert under our new musical director, Iain Cooper.

Please Note: Due to a fault in the organ at St. Paul’s Church, Woldingham, our concert on 24 March 2019, will now be held at St. Mary’s Church, Caterham, CR5 6SA, at 3.30pm.
